Plan
In this module, you will develop an understanding of how organisational planning helps in managing threats. Specifically you will learn:
- what plans your organisation should have in place
- the responsibilities of the various parties.
Prepare
Once you understand the role of organisational planning in threat management, you will learn how to personally prepare for receiving threats. Specifically you will learn:
- What motivates a perpetrator
- How to prepare for a bomb threat phone call
- How likely we are to receive a threat
- How to recognise hazardous mail
- How to recognise suspect items.
Respond
Having explored personal preparation, you will look at what to do once you receive a threat. You will learn:
- How to respond to a bomb threat call
- What to do if faced with hazardous mail or suspect items
- Organisational response and recovery.
