Workplace Bullying and other unacceptable workplace behaviours
This program is based on the 2003 WorkSafe Victoria Guidance Material “Prevention of Bullying and Violence at Work” and Human Rights Commission Information. A unique feature of this program is the online survey which gives employers a snap shop of the workplace culture and the ability to benchmark this information with general data.
Objectives
To enable trainees to:
- Recognise unacceptable workplace behaviours
- Prevent unacceptable workplace behaviours
- Deal effectively with unacceptable workplace behaviours
To give employers data to capture the workplace culture both within the organisation and as a comparison to other organisations
Outline
In this course, students will develop an understanding of what behaviours are unacceptable and how to prevent and deal with them. Behaviours covered include bullying, harassment, workplace violence and discrimination.
After cementing this knowledge with online information and activities, students will then complete a confidential survey and complete a course review to test their knowledge.
